Position Overview

We’re looking for an enthusiastic Account Manager / Sales Manager to contribute in generating sales for our company. You will be responsible for generating leads, setting meetings and/or closing sales deals, as well as maintaining good customer relations. An effective Account Manager / Sales Manager must be an excellent communicator in English and at least one other language and have superior people skills. They must be comfortable presenting product, as well as dealing with complaints or doubts. The goal is to help the company grow by bringing in customers and developing business.

Job Functions & Responsibilities

  • Contact potential or existing customers to inform them about a product
  • Answer questions about products or the company
  • Ask questions to understand customer requirements and close sales
  • Enter and update customer information in the CRM
  • Take and process proposal in an accurate manner
  • Handle grievances to preserve the company’s reputation
  • Go the extra mile to meet sales quota and facilitate future sales
  • Attend meetings with management and company teams when necessary
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Proven Experience as a Account / Sales Manager with a minimum of 5 years experience
  • Fluency in both English and one other language is a must – proficiency in both written and verbal for calls, reporting, representing the company or participation in professional situations (business meetings, events, correspondence)
  • Proven track record of successfully meeting sales quota
  • Good knowledge of relevant computer programs (e.g. Microsoft Office, CRM software)
  • Ability to learn about products and services and describe/explain them to prospects
  • Excellent communications and interpersonal skills (both languages)
  • Demonstrated ability to identify opportunities and scope targeted solutions
  • Outstanding negotiation skills with the ability to resolve issues and address complaints
  • Cool-tempered and able to handle rejection
  • Ability to prioritize, multitask, manage workload and handle pressure in a deadline-driven environment while simultaneously maintaining a sense of humor is essential
  • Ability to self-start, work remotely and independently
  • Adaptability – the individual adapts to changes in the work environment, manages competing demands and is able to deal with frequent change, delays or unexpected events
  • Dependability – the individual is consistently at work on time, responds to management direction and solicits feedback to improve performance
  • Knowledge of IoT, Shop Floor, Digitalization & Industry 4.0 is a plus
  • Experience in pharmaceuticals and track & trace solution a huge plus
  • SAP and ERP Supply Chain Solution experience, a plus
  • Enterprise Sales and Target Account Selling skill a plus
  • College / University Degree a plus
  • Travel required — particularly within EMEA
  • Located in Western EMEA
